music lessons
With more than 12 years of teaching experience, Marlene shares her enthusiasm for violin, piano and composition, creating a fun and motivating environment in which students can improve their musical skills.
Marlene teaches the fundamentals of music theory, along with playing your favourite music style. She will also help students who are interested in composing their own music and includes composition as a creative tool, particularly in children lessons.
She has experience working with special needs students, children, teens, and adults in a private lesson setting. She also teaches part time at Alcorn music studios.
Marlene is also available as an accompanist. She performs for a variety of events, such as corporate functions, weddings, cocktails and others, often with guitarist Rob MacSpurren and as a member of Divertimento orchestra.
For those interested she also offers preparation for Conservatory Canada and Royal Conservatory of Music exams.
